The company was incorporated on March 25, 1974 as Solar Shipping Lines, Inc. However, on October 16, 1974, the company decided to change its corporate name to TRANS-ASIA SHIPPING LINES, INC. We have developed several ports in the Visayas and Mindanao, which are now centers of economic activities. Hence, our synonymity with route development. But most importantly, our heart always goes to our customers with our friendly and efficient service, excellent on-board amenities, astute ship management and our outreach programs which help the communities become a better place. That’s why “At Home Ka Sa Biyahe!”.

Guidelines and Policies

Passenger Check In: Passenger must be at the passenger terminal for check-in at least two (2) hours before departure time. Trans-Asia Shipping Lines, Inc. reserves the right to cancel the ticket and accommodation of any passenger who fails to check-in thirty (30) minutes before scheduled departure and to issue the same accommodation to another passenger.

Rebooking Surcharges

Not applicable (To request for revalidation, please contact the office of TRANS ASIA.)

Refund Policy / Surcharges fees

Ticket Expiry from date of departure : 2 month

Refund Surcharges Fee: Before departure: Base fare (10%) + 200 x 1.12 (VAT) / After departure: Base fare (20%) + 200x 1.12 (VAT)

 

In the instance that the trip is canceled due to weather conditions and/or preventive maintenance, full refund will be applied. Only the base fare is refundable (Full Refund). Other fees such as service fee and web admin fee are non-refundable under any circumstances. For a round trip ticket, if the departure trip was canceled and the passenger wishes to cancel the return trip as well, a full refund will be issued. However, to waive the surcharges for the return trip, Barkota will coordinate with the shipping company.

Please be advised that starting August 18, 2021, ONLY APORS and OFW can travel in and out of Cebu as per EO 137 and advised by Councilor Garganera until August 31, 2021.

* Negative RT-PCR test valid within 72 hours or Antigen test valid within 48 hours

A. 2. Inbound Passengers for Cebu Province
* Negative RT-PCR test valid within 72 hours or Antigen test valid within 72 hours

A. 3. Inbound Passengers for Mandaue City and Lapu-Lapu City
* Negative RT-PCR test valid within 72 hours or Antigen test valid within 48 hours

B. 1. Outbound Passengers
* Please refer to our existing travel requirements based on your local LGU's requirements
